Beard Routine: Scissor Shaping

Beard Routine: Scissor Shaping

February 25, 2020

In today's beard routine video I use a pair of beard and mustache scissors to shape my beard.  This is a regular trim that I perform about once every 2 weeks.  This kind of beard trim and shaping helps cut down on the split ends and keeps my beard in a desirable shape.

My beard as it grows tend to grow outwards.  For me personally, I like the look of my beard going straight down.  This is why a shaping trim is important as it will give my beard the appearance of growing straight down as well as round out the bottom.  Since different areas of the beard grow at different rates it doesn't take too long for my beard to lose it's shape.

As always when it comes to trimming your beard or your mustache you want to have a clear game plan of what you're going to do before you start trimming.  Set clear goals and give yourself plenty of time to work on your beard.  Patience is always key and to stop while you are ahead.  Check out my beard routine video to see the scissors trim in action.
