Fall has always been one of our favorite seasons for beard care. As the temperatures begin to drop, deeper woods, warm spices, smoky blends and richer scents naturally start to feel right again.
But a great fall scent doesn't have to be heavy. Maybe you're drawn to the deep woods, a warm fire or the richness of bourbon and oak, each premium beard oil in our Fall Beard Care Collection offers its own unique personality and experience.
This guide is designed to help you discover the fall scent that fits your style. Below, you'll find a quick guide to point you in the right direction, followed by a closer look at each scent and what makes it unique.

Some Beard Baron scents simply feel made for cooler weather.
Fireside, Wildwood, Imperial, Seville and Orient Express are part of our year-round Classic Collection, meaning you can enjoy them in any season. But as summer gives way to fall, these longtime favorites take on a character that feels especially at home in cooler temperatures.

Fir • Balsam • Bergamot • Sandalwood • Patchouli
A Beard Baron original since 2014 and our #1 best-selling scent, Fireside was created around one of the simplest pleasures of cooler weather: sitting beside a warm fire in the great outdoors.
Fir and balsam establish its woodland character while sandalwood and patchouli give the blend depth. Bergamot provides balance and a distinct hint of smoke brings everything together. Once in the beard, a subtle sweetness begins to emerge beneath the deeper notes.
What makes Fireside unique is that unmistakable smoky character. It's warm, woodsy and inviting without simply smelling like the forest, making it a quintessential Beard Baron scent for fall.
Perfect For:

Cedarwood • Pine • Eucalyptus • Fir
Wildwood takes you deep into an untouched forest. Cedarwood, pine and fir surround the scent with the character of the woods while eucalyptus brings a subtle freshness that keeps the blend crisp and invigorating.
As one of the original scents that helped launch The Beard Baron in 2014, Wildwood has remained a favorite for beardsmen who want something unmistakably outdoorsy.
What makes Wildwood unique is how completely it embraces the forest. Where Fireside brings smoke and warmth into the woods, Wildwood is all about the trees themselves: earthy, fresh, rugged and comforting.
Perfect For:

Amber • Cherry • Tobacco
Imperial is smooth, rich and particularly well suited for cooler temperatures. Amber creates a warm foundation while cherry adds a touch of sweetness and tobacco gives the blend its distinctive depth.
The inspiration has always been simple: opening a fresh box of sweet cigars. It's rich and masculine without becoming overly sweet, giving Imperial a character that feels just as appropriate for an autumn afternoon as an evening out.
What makes Imperial unique is the combination of cherry and tobacco. Among our fall scents, it offers a warmer, subtly sweeter alternative to the woods, smoke and spice found elsewhere in the collection.
Perfect For:

Bay Rum • Sandalwood • Talc
Seville is our take on the classic barbershop scent. Bay rum and sandalwood provide warmth and character while talc gives Seville its signature clean, powdery finish.
It's a true year-round scent, but its classic character makes it an excellent choice for fall when you want something polished without moving into the heavier woods, smoke or spice traditionally associated with the season.
What makes Seville unique is its timeless simplicity. It's clean, crisp and powdery fresh with an unmistakably traditional grooming-shop character.
Perfect For:

Cinnamon • Anise • Nutmeg
Inspired by the romance of first-class rail travel from Paris to Istanbul, Orient Express combines cinnamon, anise and nutmeg into a warm, balanced blend of spice.
The anise introduces a subtle licorice-like character, but never takes over. Cinnamon and nutmeg round out the blend, creating something that is spicy, smooth and lightly sweet without becoming a traditional black licorice scent.
What makes Orient Express unique is its unmistakable spice. While much of our fall collection explores woods and richer profiles, Orient Express offers an entirely different way to embrace the season.
Perfect For:
Our Private Stock Collection gives us the opportunity to explore scents beyond the Beard Baron Classics. Some are returning favorites with loyal followings while others take fall in entirely different directions.
From the deep woods of Huntsman to the espresso-forward character of Cafe Indigo, these scents offer even more ways to find something that feels right as the weather cools.

Cedar • Oak Moss • Amber
Take a trip into the deep woods with Huntsman. Cedar and oak moss give the scent its distinctly woodsy character while amber brings a smooth warmth that makes the blend particularly fitting for fall and winter.
Over the years, Huntsman has developed a loyal following within our Private Stock Collection, and it's easy to understand why. It's rich and outdoorsy with enough warmth to keep the woods from feeling overly sharp.
What makes Huntsman unique is its deeper woodland character. If Wildwood feels like a crisp walk through the forest, Huntsman takes you farther in with the added richness of oak moss and amber.
Perfect For:

Lime • Basil • Pine • Sandalwood
Foss, Icelandic for "waterfall," lives up to the feeling and power of its namesake. Lime and basil bring a cool, refreshing character while pine and sandalwood add earthy, woodsy depth.
The result is fresh, crisp and remarkably smooth. Foss feels at home during fall and winter without relying on the heavier notes traditionally associated with cold-weather scents.
What makes Foss unique is that contrast between freshness and the woods. It's an excellent choice for someone who wants a fall scent but isn't necessarily looking for smoke, sweetness or something particularly heavy.
Perfect For:

Sandalwood • Bourbon
Originally released in 2017, Capulet has become one of our most celebrated Private Stock scents. Its pairing of sandalwood and bourbon creates a smooth, distinguished character that feels especially fitting as summer begins to give way to fall.
It's masculine and refined with a little more weight than many of our warmer-weather scents, making Capulet an easy choice for evenings and cooler days.
What makes Capulet unique is its simplicity. Sandalwood and bourbon do all the work, creating a polished scent that feels buttoned-up without becoming overly complicated.
Perfect For:

Pine • Rose • Musk
Montague offers a different interpretation of a cooler-weather scent. Pine introduces subtle freshness while rose brings a refined floral character, all softened by musk for a clean, sophisticated finish.
It's lighter and slightly powdery compared with many of the richer scents in the fall collection, giving Montague a polished, almost cologne-like quality.
What makes Montague unique is the rose. It's an unexpected note within our fall lineup and gives the scent a distinctive personality without turning Montague into an overtly floral blend.
Perfect For:

Oud • Frankincense • Musk
Desert Haze captures the mystery and stillness of the desert after sunset. Oud, frankincense and musk come together in a deep, handsome blend with an understated incense character.
There's some weight to Desert Haze, but no single note overwhelms the others. The oud and musk provide richness while the frankincense gives the scent its smoky, almost meditative quality.
What makes Desert Haze unique is its depth. Rather than taking you into the forest or beside the fire, it offers something darker and more mysterious with a distinctly refined character.
Perfect For:

Bourbon • Charred Oak • Vanilla
Windsor is built around quiet strength and timeless style. Rich bourbon and charred oak create the depth of a well-aged whiskey barrel while vanilla smooths the edges and brings warmth to the blend.
Smooth and full-bodied, Windsor feels equally at home beside the fire or out for the evening. It's the kind of scent that leaves an impression without needing to announce itself.
What makes Windsor unique is its whiskey-barrel character. Compared with the streamlined sandalwood and bourbon pairing of Capulet, Windsor goes deeper with charred oak and vanilla for a richer, warmer experience.
Perfect For:

Espresso • Lavender
Cafe Indigo brings together two notes you might not immediately expect to find in the same bottle. Rich espresso leads the scent from the beginning while just a touch of lavender softens the blend and gives it a refined finish.
The inspiration brings together a Parisian cafe and fields of lavender, but make no mistake: this is an espresso-forward scent. It's rich without being particularly sweet and wears remarkably well both day and night.
Cafe Indigo also holds a special place in our scent history. After creating Noir in 2016, I knew there was an idea there that I wanted to revisit someday. Cafe Indigo became the first time in my scent-creation career that I returned to a particular concept and felt I was able to improve upon it.
What makes Cafe Indigo unique is obvious from the first application: there's simply nothing else quite like it in our collection. Espresso takes center stage while lavender provides just enough balance to make the pairing feel sophisticated rather than expected.
Perfect For:
There's no single scent that defines fall.
For some, it's the deep forest character of Wildwood or Huntsman. For others, it's the smoke of Fireside, the spice of Orient Express or the bourbon and oak of Windsor. And if traditional fall scents aren't your style, something fresher like Foss or more unexpected like Cafe Indigo may be exactly what you're looking for.
The best place to start is simply with the scents you already know you enjoy. Use the Fall Scent Guide to narrow down your choices, then explore something new from there.
Experience the season. Find your fall scent. Grow with confidence.
